Xander Nichting, Electric Violinist

Xander is violinist, solo-artist, musical director, composer and arranger, whose music covers all styles and influences from Classical, Swing, Jazz, New Age, R&B, Celtic, Bluegrass, and World Folk.

At a young age Xander played with gypsies, and got in touch with jazz and pop music. He was the first 6-string electric violinist to graduate from the conservatory in the Netherlands.  He now performs his own music in the Netherlands and abroad.  With his specially designed electric violin he produces a warm distinctive sound. Xander has played with many well-known artists from all over the world, appearing live on TV and radio throughout Europe.

Xander plays a leading role at many major international events and presentations

He recently wrote music for the IPL (Indian Premier League) Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Xander performed there as a live artist as well, reaching 320 million people in 132 countries worldwide on live TV.

Xander composes his own music as well as music for other artists. He is also an accomplished producer.

In his studio he also works as an arranger for solo artists, pop bands and orchestras.

His first promotional performance for the debut album took place in the United States (February 2008) and was a great success.

Xander Nichting, who works in collaboration with Pro Music Studios (NL) as an arrranger for solo artists, pop bands and orchestras, has released his first solo album "Out Of The Blue" in April 2009. The CD can be bought on http://www.xandernichting.com.
